Day Eleven..Twelve Tags of Christmas with Loll and Friends.
You have until Nov 23rd to link your tags:-)
I die cut my tag with Strathmore Mixed Media using CUTplorations
Stitch Tags Nesting Dies. Then sponged with DI:Tea Dye.
Then placed tag in MISTI and stamped STAMPlorations Christmas Flower/Large
with Archival black ink and heat embossed with SU Clear EB powder.
Now the fun began..watercoloring with Zig Markers and an aqua painter.
When dry I die cut MM paper using CUTplorations Peace on Earth Phrase Die,
which is unavailable at this time.
Then added gold Stickles to flower center and SU Real Red ribbon (ret).
I was very pleased with my tag and hope you like it too.
Thank you again Loll for your fun and inspiring 5th annual Christmas Tag Challenge.
We will all miss your event next year, but understand the commitment it takes.
Love and Hugs...

ReplyDeleteYou painted this so beautifully, Nancy! Love the image and love the sparkle on this. Your die cut sentiment looks fabulous stacked in white. Great dimension on that.
ReplyDeleteGosh, this is just beautiful, Nancy! I do love a lot of the Stamplorations bold sentiment dies and will have to take a trip over there and stock up some day soon. You've got some really gorgeous tags this year!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I LOVE your bright poinsettia on the tea dye background. Great colours together. And love the gold sparkles on the poinsettia center. Beautiful tag, my friend! xx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful tag and gorgeous watercolouring, Nancy! Love that unavailable die cut sentiment! 😩 xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous poinsettia tag, Nancy! The black outlines are shiny and the Zig colors are so pretty. Love your color choice for the sponged background. I've never used Tea Dye for my cards, and you inspired me to use it. :-) Great job with making the white die-cut sentiment prominent too.
ReplyDeleteHugs.. Hideko
Thank you Hideko for your sweet comment. If you ever stamped no line watercolor technique, the Tea Dye Distress ink works very well. Hugs..Nancy
