About Me

Stamping, hiking, backpacking, and gardening are a few of my favorite activities.  My husband Denny and I also do daily yoga at home, fitness classes and swing dancing.  I have been retired since 2005, which gives me much more time to play!

Denny and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary in October 2015 :-)  We were both born and raised on the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast.  We raised our 2 daughters and son on 35 acres of forested land up Coos River, where we still garden and hike.  Our family has grown with the addition of our s0n-in-law, daughter-in-law, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandsons.  They are all scattered so it is real special when we get together.

Nature has been a constant inspiration during my 20+ years of stamping.  I retired after 10 years from being a Stampin' Up Demo and now have more time for my newest stamping adventure...My own Blog...scandinancy creates ,  since March 2016 thanks to my dear friend, Loll (Stamping with Loll).

Loll helped me design my blog and walked me through all the many steps of creating a blog!  I could not have accomplished this process without you my sweet and very patient friend! I thank you everyday:-)

Having a blog has opened up the door for more stamping adventures.  I have been on Loll and Bonnie's CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour Challenges the last 2+ years and have enjoyed and learned so much using my favorite CAS style and Mixed Media Techniques besides making many new Blog friends!

I am looking forward to more creative adventures...including our 2nd Stamping Retreat in beautiful Vancouver BC, Canada in May, 2018.  We stampers do have Fun!

I have started a new stamping adventure now that I am on Shery Russ's STAMPlorations CAS Challenge Design Team too.  Shery started her awesome new stamping company, STAMPlorations with her husband David,  5+ years ago.  I have loved their stamps, dies and stencil products,  since the beginning and watched them grow into a successful company.

Happy creative adventures, my friends.  Hugs...

P.S. Photo taken by Denny on our October, 2017 backpack trip.  Luckily it was our 1st day out, so I was still relatively clean!
