My card using 5 STAMPlorations Products:-)

CUTplorations Let it Snow Word Phrase Die

What fun to use 5 STAMPlorations products for my last 2021 Stencil Challenge!
I began by creating the stenciled main image:
Mixed Media paper using masking tape.  Then sponged through the stencil with
Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and Speckled Egg inks using makeup brushes.

Step 2: Left the Flexi-plate on and attached with tape the ARTplorations Holiday Trees Stencil and
added the Distress Rustic Wilderness Ink to trees with makeup brush. Used metallic gold
pen to stars and colored trunks with Zigs then removed tree stencil.

Step 3: Attached the ARTplorations Dots All Over Stencil with tape and used a sponge dauber to add
Versafine clear ink, then removed image and heat embossed with SU Clear EB powder.

Step 4: Die cut image with Memory Box Stitched Circle Die.
Die cut a larger circle and sponged with DI Rustic Wilderness and attached layers.

Step 5: Die cut CUTplorations Let it Snow Word Phrase Die ( I could not find product in store).
Then stamped with Versamark clear ink and Heat embossed with Rangers Distress Embossing
Glaze Speckled Egg and Cracked Pistachio..a total of 5 layers!! Gorgeous Shine!

Step 6:  Die cut SU colored cardstock cardbase with
CUTplorations Circles All Over Texture Cover Plate.  Popped up main image with craft foam
and attached sentiment with Connect Glue and Done:-)
I Loved the results of my NOT CAS card all inspired by the STAMPlorations Products!
Fun Creative way to end the 2021 Stencil challenges:-)

We hope you can join us this month and that we will see you back in 2022!
Wishing you a Healthy and Happy Holiday Season with your family and friends.
Love and Thank you for supporting STAMPlorations!

STAMPlorations Vintage Blooms #2 ATC mini slimline cards

I have 6 Mini Slimline Cards to share using STAMPlorations

I Love the uncolored flowers with the text kraft backgrounds on the 120# ATC's.
That gave me the opportunity to use Prismacolor watercolor and colored pencils
 on the ATC's.

I created the same Mini Slimline (3 1/4" x 6 1/4") card bases using SU Kraft cardstock
on three cards and River Rock cardstock on three cards.
The River Rock was a lighter shade that matched 3 of the ATC's closer.

My set of River Rock cardstock Mini Slimline ATC cards.

Mini Slimline #1 Dance in the Rain.

I used the same design techniques for all the ATC's, but varied the pencil  and
SU cardstock frame colors. It was so relaxing and enjoyable coloring the pretty flowers.

I used Prismacolor pencils and Prismacolor watercolor pencils.
I used a slightly loaded with water #4 paint brush for watercoloring
with the watercolor pencils because the ATC's are not watercolor paper.
But they handle light watercoloring easily:-)

with Distress Inks onto the River Rock card front.

Popped up the ATC on craft foam and added The Inspirational #1 Clear Stickers
and done!

Mini Slimline #2 Live Life

and Done!

Another mini slimline card Done!

using Archival Jet Black ink.

Popped up the pretty ATC and added to Mini Slimline card front.

CAS Stencil May Reminder: Layered Stenciling

Already time for our CAS Stencil May Reminder Challenge!
You still have until the 24th to play along.

Our creative teamie, Viv is hosting this month.
Be sure and check out all the amazing cards by our Design Team.

There are video tutorials if you need more inspiration.
We would love to have you play along.  Stay safe and creative, dear friends.

Big Hugs..

I used 2 new stencils designed by Helen G for ARTlorations.
I had so much fun layering the stencils.

I sprayed Pixie Spray on the back of the "Brick Wall" stencil.
Placed stencil over Strathmore Mixed Media paper,  secured with painters tape.

Then used a make up brush to blend Distress Oxide "Iced Spruce" thru the stencil.
It gave a light gray with a tint of spruce green soft background.
I could not pick up the light green in the photo.

Then sprayed the "Petals 1" stencil and placed over brick wall background
securing with tape carefully so as not to tear background.

Used brush to blend Distress Oxides: Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber,
Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violets thru stencil.
Removed stencil and went...Wow!!  Loved the effect!

Next die cut the layer with Memory Box Stitched Rectangles Die.
Placed in MISTI and stamped Penny Black "Special Sentiments" using Memento
London Fog dye ink.

Attached layer to SU Whisper White 100# card base and Done!

Thank you again Hilary for an awesome challenge.
I need to do stencil layering more often:-)  Hugs..

Adding to NBUS Challenge #14: I used NBUS ARTplorations Brick Wall and Petals 1 Stencils.

Supplies:
Stamps: Penny Black "Special Sentiments"

STAMPlorations April Stencil Reminder

So many inspiring projects from our very talented STAMPgirls designers!

My list of STAMPloration Products!

Clear Stickers New Day

I stenciled ARTplorations Helen G's "Make Marks 4" on Strathmore Mixed Media using
make up brush to blend Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover inks.

Of course I could not waste all the ink on the stencil so spritzed with water and
flipped the stencil over onto
another piece of MM paper and placed a paper towel over the stencil and rubbed
with my hand to spread the inks.  Now another background for a future project:-)

Next used one of the Hearts from the "Zen Hearts" stencil over Mixed Media and
watercolored with Zig markers and water brush. When dry removed stencil.

Then used Ultra Fine Tip Black Sharpie to outline the heart images and heart border.
Fussy cut and set aside.

Die cut border for the monoprint background with Crazy Double Running
Stitch Rectangles Nesting Dies.  Attached heart,  added 2 sticker sentiments.
Punched 2 butterflies out of Alcohol Ink on Yupo scraps.
Popped up butterflies, added Wink of Stella to heart and Done!

Wishing you a bright and cheerful day.  Take care,  my friends.  Hugs..

STAMPlorations January 2020 Reminder Stencil Challenge

Be sure and check out the awesome STAMP Girls DT projects!
You will be inspired by all the DT projects using stencil(s).

I used these STAMPloration Products for my card.

Sanna Lippert Designs, Tapestry Stencil
Life in Full Color (sentiment)

Another Ranger Alcohol Ink background from my stash using Sailboat Blue and Mermaid.

I laid my "Tapestry" stencil over a piece of Yupo paper and
secured with masking tape.  Then dripped Alcohol inks thru the stencil.
You do not get perfect stencil images,  but a cool artsy look.

I die cut the background with a "Basic A2 Panels Nesting Die".
Then  placed Tapestry Stencil over the Alcohol Ink background and
traced with Ultra Fine Tip Sharpie Pen.
I really liked the artsy look and color combo.

Popped up panel with White Craft Foam onto cardstock and
stamped and fussy cut "Life in Full Color" sentiment and attached.

Another QCAS card stencil design.
Hope you get to play along with us at STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge, Anything Goes.
You have until January 31st to join the fun. Hugs..

STAMPlorations October 1st 2019 Stencil Anything Goes Challenge

are excited about starting our new season...Oct 2019 thru June 2020 (minus Feb)!

I have switched from the CAS Card Challenge to the new Stencil Challenge:-)

Challenges posted on 1st day of the Month with Reminders posts on 15th of the Month.
You have until the last day of the month to play along.

Here is my stencil card!

I began by coating mixed media paper with white Gesso using wide paint brush.

Let dry and secured my ARTplorations "Peeking Dahlias Stencil" to
paper with masking tape.  Used sponge dauber to add Distress Oxide Inks thru stencil.
Next sponged stencil with clear Versamark and heat embossed with Clear EB Powder.

The shine is so beautiful and acted as a resist to add,  sponged with paper towel blue Brushos
to background and "Make Marks 3" heat embossed star like marks to background.
Next I splattered background with blue acrylic paint.

Die Cut my card front with CUTplorations "Crazy Double Running Stitch Nesting Dies"
and popped up stamped and heat embossed STAMPlorations :"Carved Flowers" sentiment.

Attached to card base and Done!  Loved the stenciling and mixed media products.

Sharing a Close Up that shows the shine from the heat embossed stenciled flowers,
stenciled marks and stamped sentiment.

We would love to have you play along in our STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge.  Hugs..
