Happy Thanksgiving USA Friends

Wishing all my USA crafting friends a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

My sincere wish is that 2021 is a year of Love and Healing World-Wide!
There is much to be Thankful for,  but it will take working together.

Happy Thanksgiving,  my dear friends...

I used ARTplorations  Slimline "Leaf Prints 4 Stencil" for my Happy Thanksgiving card for a special friend,  which I am sharing today with many more special friends:-)

I used my new I-Crafter I-brush Ink Applicators blender brushes that I ordered from Simon Says Stamp to blend all the Distress Oxide Inks. The blender brushes are like finger daubers,  but with a fine brush.  They work like the makeup brushes we are all using and great for control in small areas.  There are 10 daubers.  Spendy,  but should last a life time and are color coded and stackable.

After blending all the colors I used some of the colors on a piece of mixed media paper and die cut CUTplorations  stitched Thankful from the "Be Thankful" die set and again in black cs.  Then stamped and cut out the sentiments from the matching stamp set.  Adding all sentiments with dimensionals and Done!

How about another Thanksgiving Card?  This card is for Denny!
We are thankful our husband's support our hobbies and we support theirs!

I found this beautiful old designer paper in my stash.  I grounded the trees using the back of the paper.  I die cut the PB "Windy" Die leaves (gifted by a friend)  from an alcohol ink background from my stash.  I loved the Fall colors.  Next die cut the tree trunks from SU Chocolate Chip CS.  Attached with Connect Glue and set aside.

Next die cut the designer paper with Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangles die and attached to Chocolate Chip CS.  Added the trees and strip of designer paper to ground the trees.  Stamped the STAMPlorations "Bloomfully-Thankful" Sentiment and attached to card base and Done!

I am so Thankful for the friendship of all my blogger friends world wide and wishing you all a special and safe Thanksgiving and Holiday Season.  Love and Hugs...

I am sharing my 1st card with STAMPlorations Anything Goes Challenge.

I am sharing my 2nd card with Color Hues #6 Pink and Brown Challenge.

Sharing both cards with NBUS #20 Challenge.
1st card using Never Before Used I Brush Ink Applicator's (Love them).

Grateful for you!

This SSS "Tumbling Leaves Stencil" is one of my favorites gifted to me by a very special friend.  I attached to Strathmore Mixed Media paper with 3M masking tape.  Much of the stencil is Off the Edge.

I used a Makeup Brush to blend the colors with Distress Oxide Inks then realizing .... Whoops I did not use watercolors..no problem easy fix.

I replaced stencil and used Derwent Watercolor Pencils to color the leaves.

I loved the results.  Next I stamped the T.H. Wildflowers silhouette image using Versamark ink and heat embossed with my new T.H. Distress EB Glaze: Cracked Campfire and heat embossed. Another gift:-)

I then used Spellbinders "Rectangle Hemstitch Die" to die cut the A2 border.  Used MISTI to stamp the STAMPlorations "Bloomfully Thankful" sentiment.  Attached cardfront to SU 100# cardbase and Done!

We would love to have you join our challenge.  Love and Hugs..

Next used make up brushes to blend the inks.  then removed stencil and
traced the leaves with a Staedler black pen to make the leaves pop.

Popped up image with craft foam and attached to 100# white cardbase.

Set card aside and used makeup brush to blend  Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover and
Evergreen Bough Distress Inks over the new material Craftplorations Tropical Leaf.
Stamped "Holiday Mocha Feels" sentiment with Archival Black Ink.

Close Up of Heat Embossed and Metallic Paint Shine.

I stamped the mocha image with Versafine black ink onto mixed media paper and heat embossed with clear EB powder.  Then painted the floral arrangement, coffee beans and mocha with Gamsi Tambi W/C paints.  I used the metallic gold and silver W/C paints also,  which adds shine along with the heat embossing.

Then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Distress Ink and heat embossed with clear EB powder.  Stamped the Joy from the same set and outlined with a black art pen.

Die cut the border, then attached to card base and Done!
Every sentiment in the set fits inside the coffee cup..so cool!

I do Love making tags for my trays of cookies,  that I share with family and friends.  The cookies are delicious with tea or coffee:-)

very talented,  Bonnie.  We are very happy to have the awesome CAS designer,
Michele as our Guest Designer this month.

You are going to be so inspired by our CAS Mix Up Design Team too!

Here is my Off the Edge card..Enjoy

This is a card I made recently for a dear friend,  who has been on my mind!
It seems we all need thinking of you cards often this year.
I was so pleased to use Bonnie's CAS Mix Up "Off the Edge (W)" Challenge.

I used SU "Forever Fern" stamp set to stamp off the edge of SU 100# CS.
I used Distress Oxide Inks: Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and
Abandoned Coral.  I love Fall colors.

I  used my MISTI to ink, spritz with water and then stamp the ferns onto
the 100# cardstock and then moved the ink around with a water brush.
Let each leaf image dry completely before stamping a new leaf image.

Then stamped STAMPlorations "Trendy Feathers" sentiment in MISTI using
Distress Oxide Vintage Photo and then heat embossed with SU
Clear EB Powder.

Next I die cut card front with Reverse Confetti,  "Lacy Scallop Frame" Confetti
Die.  Then I used the splatter stamp from the "Forever Fern" stamp set
to add splatters with the DOX inks I had used on the leaves.

Attached cardfront to the SU 100# card base and Done!
I was very happy with the Fall colored Off the Edge results.

the stencil.  My 1st time to try the Yupo paper for stenciling.
I loved how the inks blended. I used a masked circle for my moon.

Next fussy cut the "Woodland Friends" that I found in my stash.

The white border was the edge of the slimline stencil:-)
