STAMPlorations June Stencil Challenge

June STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge with artsy projects by our Talented Design Team!
You have until the end of the month to play along!

Clear Stickers Hey Sunshine

Close Up of the Heat Embossed Stenciled Burst!

I was inspired by my friend,  Karen's (Snippets) artsy Bubble Wrap Resist card!
But instead of Bubble Wrap Resist I used a Stencil Resist Technique using ARTlorations

I used Strathmore Mixed Media paper and attached the stencil using 3M Masking Tape.
I added Versamagic Clear White pigment ink using a sponge dauber.
Removed stencil and added SU Clear EB Powder and heat embossed.

The next Fun Step😀
Applied Distress Inks lengthwise using ink pads directly on a large acrylic block.
I used in this order: Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Broken China and Peacock Feathers.  Used Distress Sprayer to add a fine mist over the inks.

Then Dragged acrylic block down mixed media paper.  Wow!! Awesome rainbow colored effect!
Used a paper towel to wipe off the inks on the heat embossed stenciled Burst image.

Let background dry.  Then trimmed to 3 3/4" x 6" for a mini slimline card front.
Added Hey Sunshine Clear Stickers sentiments and attached to 100# card base and Done!
Loved the results!   Thank you Karen for always Inspire me, my friend😊

We would love to have you join the fun! Be sure to follow the rules so you will be eligible for prizes!

Love and Hugs...

STAMPlorations Spring Fling Hop and Linky Party Encore

STAMPlorations Spring Fling Hop and Linky Party Encore!

More projects by the STAMPgirls Design Team using Shery's new Quick Card Fronts.
I am using the new Artsy Florals A2 Card Fronts set for my card along with other STAMPgirls.
Some of the others are using the new Spring Florals A2 Card Fronts for their projects.
You are going to be impressed and inspired by all their beauties😊

Clear Stickers Spring Magic
Shaker Blends (flat sequins) Color Confetti

This card is very different from my 1st card that  I designed for the May 19, 2021 Spring Fling Hop and Linky Party.  I kept this card Quick and Easy,  but still loved the results.

I love how there was just enough room to add a narrow black cardstock background frame to make the card front fit the A2 100# white card base perfectly.  After attaching the card front to the black cardstock I then attached it to the A2 Basic White card base.  Then added the Happy Spring Clear Sticker from the  Spring Magic clear sticker set.  Next added the Shaker Blends (flat sequins) Color Confetti using Correct Glue.  Last, but not Least added Wink of Stella to tiny flowers and Done!

I showed my card to my husband,  who is my best critic...his reply,  "Wow"!  He thought I had done all the coloring and arranging of the flowers.  Then I was really pleased.  Hope you like my card too and all the other projects by the STAMPgirls. We would love to have you play along.

Another Alcohol Ink background card!

My alcohol ink backgrounds created with Alcohol Ink on Yupo paper have been perfect
for QCAS (Quick Clean and Simple) card designs.

Again I am using Karen (Snippets) Alcohol ink on Yupo paper and placing the paper in my small salad spinner and adding drops of Alcohol Ink with drops of Blending Solution or you can use rubbing alcohol.
Karen has a simple photo tutorial that shows her technique with a large salad spinner.

I am so Thankful for you, dear friends.  Enjoy...

I only had a small salad spinner so die cut small rectangles and circles for future projects:-)  The spinner is now designated to my craft room!  I cleaned it with warm soapy water and the alcohol,  but still not spotless.  Karen got her larger spinner from the $ store!

Here is my previous blog featuring my 1st QCAS Alcohol Inks on Yupo Paper card.

I used STAMPlorations Bloomfully Thankful for my stamped with Archival Jet Black Ink.  Tip: I used the low setting on my heat tool to carefully dry the sentiment.  Then blotted with scrap paper carefully to make sure it was dry.  Inks dry slowly on Yupo paper.  Be careful drying anything on Yupo as it will warp if it gets too hot.

My card is meant as a thank you for all my special Email Subscribers.
I treasure your support,  kindness and comments, dear friends.

I created my QCAS (Quick Clean and Simple) card with one of the Alcohol Inks on Yupo backgrounds that I created a few days ago.  I was inspired by our dear friend, Karen (Snippets),  who shared a photo Tutorial on Yupo and Alcohol Inks using a Salad Spinner:-)  Be sure and check out her blog!

I only had a small salad spinner so die cut small rectangles and circles for future projects:-)  The spinner is now designated to my craft room!  I cleaned it with warm soapy water and the alcohol,  but still not spotless.  Karen got her larger spinner from the $ store!

The sentiments are from STAMPlorations Bloomin' Coffee and You.

You,  Are All Very Special!   I so appreciates your visits and comments.

CAS Christmas Card Challenge Foliage and Berries

Joining in the May CAS Christmas Card Challenge using Foliage and Berries.  My friend Christine is hosting this fun and festive Christmas Challenge😊 Robyn is the Guest Designer.  Be sure and check out all the Gorgeous CAS Christmas Card designs by the talented DT and GD.

Rules

Here is my Foliage and Berries card😀

I have been seeing more Clean and Simple backgrounds using colored cardstock and really liked the effect,  so tried my card design using SU Real Red card that I die cut with Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangle Die.  Loved how it made the main image pop!

I have been enjoying working on my watercoloring techniques recently with different products.
I stamped the Penny Black "Cheerful Christmas" image with Versafine black ink onto Strathmore Mixed Media paper using MISTI.  Then heat embossed with SU Clear Embossing Powder.

Next watercolored the beautiful bird and holly image with Zig markers and aqua painter.  Adding layers of color until I was happy with the results.  Popped up image with white foam and attached to die cut red cardstock.

When dry I die cut with Memory Box Stitched Circle Die.  Then stamped STAMPlorations "Christmas Joy" sentiment with Archival Jet Black ink onto  SU Basic White cardstock and die cut with MB Hemstitch Die and attached to red cardstock.  Attached to A2 SU Basic White 100# cardbase, which left a narrow white frame,  which I liked.  I really like the colored "white" CAS design:-)  How about you?

I am so pleased to be able to add another Christmas card to my stash.
You still have until the 24th to play along.  Love and Hugs..

Supplies:
Stamps: Penny Black "Cheerful Christmas".  STAMPlorations "Christmas Joy".
Paper: SU Basic White 100#.  SU Real Red.  Strathmore Mixed Media.
Inks: Versafine Black.  Zigs Watercolor Markers. Archival Jet Black.
Accessories: Spellbinder Hemstitch Rectangle Dies.  Memory Box Stitched Circle Die.  White Craft Foam. Aqua Painter.  MISTI.

I am adding my card to Penny Black Saturday Challenge ATG or optional Clean & Simple.

STAMPlorations 2021 Spring Fling Hop & Linky Party

STAMPlorations May 19th 2021 Spring Fling Hop & Linky Party has begun😀
Click on the link above for all the details.

You will be Awed by all the Awesome projects the STAMPGirls have made using the New STAMPlorations Quick Card Fronts and Die Cut Words or Phrases.

Here is my finished card using
CUTplorations Word Phrase Big Hugs

Photo was taken before layering the die cut and outlined layer on the card on the right  over the original layer.
There are 4 different designs and total of 8 card fronts in each Quick Card Front set.

Artsy Florals A2 Card Fronts before enhancing the images by outlining with a black art pen and die cutting word phrase Big Hugs 4 times and stacking.

Then die cut the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Dies frame,  popped up with craft foam and layered the card front over the same 2nd card front and outlined the image that extended beyond the top Quick Card Front layer.

So much fun adding the creative outlining, die cut stacked sentiment and frame to the beautiful Artsy Florals A2 Card front.  Be sure and check out all the STAMPgirls awesome projects too.

We would love to have you play along with our 2021 Spring Fling Hop & Linky Party.
