Holiday Mocha Feels

Monika and I are sharing projects using the new Christmas stamp sets.

Close Up of Heat Embossed and Metallic Paint Shine.

I stamped the mocha image with Versafine black ink onto mixed media paper and heat embossed with clear EB powder.  Then painted the floral arrangement, coffee beans and mocha with Gamsi Tambi W/C paints.  I used the metallic gold and silver W/C paints also,  which adds shine along with the heat embossing.

Then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Distress Ink and heat embossed with clear EB powder.  Stamped the Joy from the same set and outlined with a black art pen.

Die cut the border, then attached to card base and Done!
Every sentiment in the set fits inside the coffee cup..so cool!

I do Love making tags for my trays of cookies,  that I share with family and friends.  The cookies are delicious with tea or coffee:-)

I used CUTplorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies to die cut all the tags from Strathmore Tan and White Mixed Media papers.

Stamped the tag images and mug cup image from the stamp set and heat embossed.
Watercolored the poinsettias and mug cup with Gansai Tambi paints.  I used the gold metallic paint on the images for a pretty shine.

Fussy cut the poinsettia that is off the edge of the cup...the poinsettia and cup are one piece.  Next attached to die cut Tag.
Watercolored the poinsettia tags,  fussy cut and popped up with craft foam.
Added stamped and heat embossed sentiments then attached layers and added the SU ribbons (ret) and Done!

In the future I will be making more of these fun colorful Christmas tags:-)
I loved all the choices of sentiments in the set and images.

Thank you Shery for the two new awesome Christmas Stamp Sets.
We hope you join the Coffee Lovers Hop for a chance at amazing prizes and inspiring project designs.  Love and Hugs..

  1. These are very pretty stamp sets with great sentiments. I love how you colored the image on your card, leaving the cup and saucer white. Your experience at making tags shows on your sweet trio, Nancy. I still haven't tried embossing DOX inks. Jotting it down now so I won't forget!

  9. Beautiful and festive coffee cup card and poinsettia tags, Nancy! Love the beautifully watrecolored poinsettia decorations and coffee beans on the saucer. It's wonderful that every sentiment in the set fits inside the cup. Your tag trio is bright and pretty! Great job with fussy-cutting. The shine from the metallic watercolor adds festive feelings and it must be so pretty in real life. With krumkakes, the receivers will be doubly happy. :-) Hugs.. Hideko
