Christmas in the Air November Projects

My STAMPlorations teamie,  Monika and I are happy to share our
September Christmas in the Air Feature Projects.

The Christmas in the Air feature also is a mini blog hop.  Shery will randomly draw one
winner of a $15 gift code from all the comments left on the Christmas in the Air posts
on the the STAMPlorations Blog, and on Monika's blog and my blog.

We hope our projects will inspire you to add to your Christmas Stash.

I used CRAFTplorations Raw Shapes and Bases CRAFT Products for all Three of my Christmas Tags!

Instead of showing photos of the step by step process,  I am sharing photos of the finished tags with the main supplies that I used.

1st CRAFT Tag: "Coffee Mug" 3mm MDF Large 3" Tall
STAMPlorations "FA-LA-LA-LA-Latte" Clear Stamp set.

I covered the 3" Tall Large 3mm MDF mug with Versamark and sprinkled with Distress Embossing Glaze: Vintage Photo and heat embossed for a beautiful shiny
dark brown tone.

Then stamped "Fa-La-La-La-Latte" poinsettia tag onto Strathmore MM paper and heat
embossed with clear EB Powder.  Colored with Kuretake Gansi Tambi W/C paints and trimmed to fit mug.

Stamped and heat embossed sentiment from same stamp set.  Attached poinsettias image and sentiment with Connect Glue to tag.  Added ribbons and Done!

2nd Craft Tag: Christmas Bauble #1 3mm Baltic Birch.
STAMPlorations Holiday Mocha Feels Clear Stamp Set.

I stamped the "Holiday Mocha Feels" coffee cup image, which includes the coffee beans and beautiful poinsettia Winter flowers with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear eb powder onto Strathmore MM paper.

Next watercolored with the Kuretake paints.  Stamped sentiment from same set, then fussy cut cup, saucer and flowers and attached to baltic wood bauble with Connect Glue.  Added ribbon and Done!

3rd Craft Tag: Christmas Bauble #1 3mm Baltic Birch 3".
Clear Stickers: Just Caffeinate.

I covered "Christmas Bauble #1" with White Gesso.  Let dry then Watercolored with Kuretake Gansi Tambi Metallic Gold paint the entire wood bauble.  When dry stamped the poinsettia cup image using archival jet black ink using MISTI.

Watercolored with paints and when dry added Clear Sticker and Done!

I was very pleased with all 3 of my tags,  which will be added to trays of cookies and could be used as ornaments for friends or family:-)
The new Christmas coffee sets images were the perfect size for all the tags.

Enjoy and we would love if you hopped along with us and added your comments.

  4. Your ornaments and mug are as pretty in the pictures as they are in real life! At first glance it's easy to mistake the mug in the photo for a real one. Beautiful combination of stamps and craft pieces. Putting the embossing glaze on my wish list after seeing these. Thanks for the inspiration, Nancy!

  10. All three tags are awesome, Nancy! Each tag is colored so beautifully. It's so interesting to see Distress Glaze on the chipboard mug. Great job of fussy-cutting the image of the second tag. The texture of the white gesso covered Christmas bauble is wonderful, and the shine of the gold must be gorgeous in real life.
A tray of krumkakes with an ornament tag is a wonderful holiday gift! Hugs.. Hideko
