Stamping + Monoprint Stenciling, Heat Embossing, Die Cutting and Dry Embossing
are my choices!
Close Up showing Heat Embossed sentiment and holly Stenciled Monoprint!
Here is my Stencil Monoprint Technique.
Turned over ARTplorations Mini Holly Stencil onto my craft mat and swiped the back of stencil with Distress Oxide Inks:
Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Charm.
Spritzed ink liberally with water. Then placed CUTplorations ATC Tag Builder Die Cut, Strathmore Bristol paper layer over inked stencil. Used a paper towel to rub firmly over the paper to get a good impression of the Holly Stencil.
If you look closely to the photos you will see the holly and berries designs.
I really like the 3 shades of green too.
Next I placed my background in MISTI and stamped the STAMPlorations Typografia Christmas "Christmas in the Heart" sentiment with Versamark, removed from MISTI and heat embossed with SU Cherry Cobbler EB powder.
Framed with SU Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and popped up with fun foam onto SU "Softly Falling" Dry Embossed Whisper White layer.
Attached to SU Thick Whisper White card base and done.
I was inspired after seeing Karen's (Snippets) recent Christmas Stencil Monoprint Card to use a Stencil Monoprint design for a Christmas Card.
Here is Karen's beauty! Thank you for the inspiration my friend.
I made a 2nd card using Typografia Christmas "Peace, Love and Joy". Two quick and easy cards for my stash. Getting very close to enough cards:-) Then I can start baking!!
Enjoy and do come and play along with us at CAS Mix Up until the 24th..."Your Choice"!
Happy Holiday preparations my friends. Hugs

DeleteLovely shades of green in the monoprint, but what mostly caught my eye is the way you angled the sentiment, stamped in a vibrant red, and really made all those mixed fonts and great words the star of the card.
