STAMPlorations 3rd Annual Giving Thanks Blog Hop & wishlist linky party!

Here is the Blog Hop Link with all the details to play along
and the many amazing prizes!

Here is my Thankful for you card using a new favorite Shirley Bee's "Layered Leaves" stamp set!
I do not have any of the fabulous new STAMPlorations stamps...yet!

Using 3 dies made my CAS design so fun and easy.

I used CUTplorations "Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies" for the frame.  Added Die-namics Rectangle Peek-A-Boo Window Die.
CUTplorations "Stitched Thankful" Die for my 3rd die cute image.

I used Loll Thompson's Splash Watercolour Background technique to make a background for the stamped and fussy cut "Layered Leaves" by Shirley Bee, die cut Peek-A-Boo Window and die cut Thankful.

I used Distress Oxide inks: Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple for my background.  Using one color at a time onto craft mat and spritzing with water then splashed with Strathmore Mixed Media paper, drying between layers.  I love the pretty watercolor effect.

Next I attached the small frame using Tomboy liquid glue and popped up the fussy cut leaves with dimensionals.  Then attached the Thankful and next stamped the SSS  "Lots of Thanks"  sentiment.

Such a fun and easy Thankful CAS card.

Be sure and check out Shery's amazing Blog Hop and wishlist linky party.

And the Thanksgiving Sale information!

There are gorgeous samples by 36 blog hop stampers using all the new stamp sets and typografia stamps.  You will be impressed.

Hugs and Happy Holiday Stamping my friends.

  2. Lovely autumn colours! Everytime I see you using the wonky stitches dies I weaken a bit more - I know I'll eventually break down and buy them!

    1. There are only 3 sizes, but the sizes I use 95% of the time. I especially love that the largest is 4 1/4" x 5 1/4". STAMPlorations has their 40% off sale everything except new releases until the 30th:-) Hugs

  9. Oops, I'm a little late. I thought there might be something I missed so I came to check up on you. Nice colors on this and I'm nuts about that big "thankful" die. Also, I've been looking at the Peek-a-Boo Window dies and loving them, but undecided. Now you're tempting me more. All the elements you used came together in a really nice composition. So many fun toys to play with!
