The Holiday Season is Flying By....
Our CAS Mix Up Stamping + Glitter + Your Choice is perfect for catching up on your Christmas Stash!
Here is my Season's Greetings Card with a Red Glimmer paper frame!
Stamping + Glimmer Paper + Die Cut and Layered Stamping!
I loved the ornament card Shirley made for her STAMPlorations Spotlight sample.
I reconstituted Brushos on my craft mat to color directly on the solid stamp with my aqua painter. Istamped onto Strathmore Bristol paper using my MISTI. I used Brushos: Scarlet, Emerald Green and Brilliant Blue. Archival Black ink to stamp the outline stamp and the snowman arm for the hanger. I just extended the hanger a little longer to reach the sentiment!
Next I used MISTI to stamp the Season's Greeting, which is from Shirley's Layered Holly set. Added Wink of Stella to the ornaments and white twine bows with silver brads from my stash.
I wanted more glitter and remembered my SU Red Glimmer. I added as a glittery frame after die cutting the Stitched Rectangle frame. Then attached to my SU Thick Whisper White Card Base with Fun Foam and Done! So fun using stamps for a creative way..thanks to Shirley's Inspiration.
Hope you get to play along with our CAS Mix Up November Challenge. You have until the 24th to play along. Be sure and check out the DT and our Guest Designer Robyn's awesome cards. Happy Holiday Stamping my friends. Hugs...

Such a sweet card. I love beautiful intense colors. I also like that you do not keep lines and colors go out of the drawing area. It looks really great. TFS this beautiful card, Nancy.

DeleteThe more I see you use these wonderful, fun stamps the more tempted I am to go shopping again! Love the dual colors on these, Nancy! I've never thought to use the powders to paint with either. Thank you for all the inspirations and your inventive ideas and techniques!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy. Your recent tags have sure inspired me my friend. Hugs
DeleteThis is so adorable, Nancy!! And what a great way to stretch your stamps by using a snowman's head stamp for an ornament ... it looks awesome!! Love the glittery frame. xx
ReplyDeleteLove the red glitter border - it sets off those fun ornaments so well! Great job using the brushos to get two different colours on each of the ornaments!
ReplyDeleteNancy, such a great effect with the Brusho's, I love the bold colour and your glittery edge :)
ReplyDeleteYour ornaments look rather whimsical with the scribble double outline of them and the two bright colors in each one - the twine bows add great dimension - and they look so fun hanging from the sentiment! Julia xx
