Alcohol Inks on Gelli Plate Birthday

April 2023 Alcohol Inks on Gelli Plate technique by the Group of Seven Cardmakers!

Click on link above for the steps to the technique and samples by the GO7 Girls!

I am sharing another card I made,  but did not have time to post.

I am sending over to the Seize the Birthday Challenge ATG

I used red, plum and yellow Ranger alcohol ink on a 4" circle gelli plate.
Next transferred onto Ninnah White 110# cardstock.
In an hour I had 14 beautiful backgrounds for my stash:-)

I popped up the Pink Fresh die cut Washi tape gifted by my friend
and added the CUTplorations "Everyday Sentiments Phrase Dies" Happy Birthday
that I stacked with 3 layers of the die cut sentiment.
Attached to SU cardstock and Done!

Playing Cards with Friends...June 2023

I was Thrilled to be invited by my very creative friend, Michele Ferguson
(I Card Everyone)  to play on her
Playing Cards with Friends series😄

The simple Rules for June 2023:

Use a fruit on your card: Stamped, Die Cut or Stenciled!
Also: Say Hi or Hello on your card in honor of  "Say Hi Day"!

Do read this sweet story😊  You will want to say Hi or Hello everyday and
on a card to join the Playing Cards with Friends Fun!

Thank you again Michele for inviting me to play with you this month💕
I can't wait to see Michele's Card on June 11th😄You will want to see her card too!

I immediately made a card after Michele's invitation,
but could not stop at one...finally chose my 2 favorite Hello cards😂

Hello Wreath Card!

My 2nd card Hello Card!

What do you think?  Now for the Deets:-)

My surprise for Michele😄
Do you recognize the die cut Pink Fresh "Lemons and Blueberries Washi Tape"
 on both cards, Michele?

You gifted these beautiful fruit filled images to our mutual very dear friend, Leslie
(Running with Scissors).  She then shared a few with me and I immediately went
home and created 7 cards using the beautiful die cuts💕

They were so perfect for your June Playing Cards with Friends theme!

I already had made the Group of Seven Cardmakers May 2023
Alcohol Inks on Gelli Plates Technique backgrounds, which I
did not get a chance to post to their blog.  I used  a 4" circle Gelli plate.

Because of Michele and Leslie I have recently ordered the Pink Fresh
Christmas Poinsettia Washi Tape, Dies and Stamp set on clearance😂
Now I can share💕

I popped up the die cut fruit with craft foam and added the stacked
die cut sentiments and the stamped PF sentiment.
Attached to SU colored cardstock and Done!

Loved the results.
I will post more finished cards in the future.

Thank you again,  Michele for our Fun Play day,  dear friend💞

Happy 94th Birthday Miss Daisy:-)

My dear forever friend,  Miss Daisy's 94th birthday lands on Memorial Day
this year.  Her dear friend and main caregiver Martha and I will be celebrating on
Tuesday the 30th at her Assisted Living apartment.

Daisy loves parties no matter how big or small:-)

I am sharing photos we took during the 2022 Christmas Holidays😊

Daisy has the sweetest smile and loves having a good time😄

Miss Daisy Loves the outdoors and gardening.  Now she gets around in her walker
or wheelchair and loves getting cards and being spoiled by her sweet caregivers.
She lives in a beautifully landscaped care center🎕

I made her Altenew "Daisy Simple Coloring Stencil Set" Card knowing she would love it
and that she would spend precious time looking and touching it over and over💞

A special card made with Love for a very, very special friend💖

I used my NBUS Altenew (4) 6x6 Daisies Simple Coloring Stencil Set for the 1st time.

It was a fun layering process that took time using Ranger Distress Oxide Inks,
but the results turned out beautifully and I know Miss Daisy will Love it!

After coloring the 4 layers of stencils with DOX Inks onto
Ninnah Solar White Crest Smooth CS using Altenew Mini Blending
Brush Set I trimmed the piece to fit an A2 SU Calypso Coral card base.
The pink petals are actually more Coral and match the card base perfectly.
The rest of the colors are true.

I popped the layer up using craft foam.
Added a CUTplorations "Everyday Sentiments Phrase Dies" Happy Birthday
that I colored with DOX Lucky Clover and
added 2 more layers of white cs for added dimension.
Attached sentiment using Connect Glue in Fine Tip Bottle and Done!

Thank you for visiting.
Love and Hugs and Happy Springtime🎕
