Loll's Message
Stencil Monoprint is my favourite stencil technique.
You start by inking the stencil, spritzing with water or shimmer spray.
You turn it over onto a clean piece of card that can take water, pressing down with a paper towel to absorb any excess ink.
This gives you a negative image of your stencil.
Instead of colouring the design or image on a stencil, you are colouring the background.
I hope you enjoy this technique as much as I do.

Using Stencil Monoprint, Tracing, Stamping, Watercoloring and Die Cutting.
I used Loll's technique above and inked the borrowed retired stencil from a friend
with Lindy's Magicals. Sorry I could not get a good photo of the pretty shine.
Blotted the ink a bit with a paper towel. Then when dry replaced stencil
and traced with Staedler black permanent ink pen.
Die cut the panel using STAMPlorations Basic A2 Panels Nesting Dies,
which gives a nice subtle finished beveled edge.
Stamped the SU "Forever Fern" sentiment, added sequins and Done!
Quick Clean and Simple technique and card for my dear 91 year old friend:-)
Love and Hugs..
