STAMPlorations March Stencil Challenge: Anything Goes

Time to play along with us at STAMPlorations March Stencil Challenge!

After taking the month of February off all our Challenge Design Team Girls
are looking forward to having you join us with your creative March Stencil projects.

As always our Stencil Challenge is Anything Goes using a stencil or stencils in your project.

Here is my card using the beautiful New
ARTplorations: All Blooms and Clear Stickers: Inspirational #1

ARTplorations: All Blooms and Clear Stickers: Inspirational #1
I sprayed the back of the stencil with light tack Pixie Spray and placed over SU
Whisper White 100# cardstock.  Secured edges of stencil with masking tape.

Then the fun began...I used make up brushes to blend Distress Oxide Inks
on all the flowers.  I will list all the colors I used in my supply list.

Then removed stencil and carefully laid the colored All Blooms card front
to the side of my work area.

I did not want to waste all the beautiful inks on my stencil,  so spritzed with water
and placed over another card front rubbing carefully with a paper towel
to transfer the ink.

I trimmed my stenciled colored card front to fit a horizontal A2 card and
attached with adhesive, then added an Inspirational #1 Clear sentiment and Done!

I loved how my card turned out and will be finishing my monoprint image into
a card for our Stencil Reminder Challenge.  Be sure and check out the DT Girls
projects.   You will be Inspired!!

You have until the end of the month to play along.   Hugs..

Please follow the Rules to be eligible for the prizes.

  7. Wow Nancy. This is gorgeous. What a beautiful blend of colors! I too now spray my stencil with temporary adhesive. Granted they stay sticky but it beats having stuff ooze underneath. Great tip! Love how this looks!

  8. Your beautiful blooms have brought spring to me, Nancy! What a beautiful and happy card with an uplifting sentiment! I love the gorgeous blend of colors. It's sometimes difficult to decide where to put which color when using many colors, but you did a great job. And thanks so much for listing all ink colors! A wonderful spring card, my friend!

  16. Wow! You certainly made the most of this floral stencil. Beautiful use of color; I notice the pedals, the stamens and inside center of each flower, and the contrast between each flower that touches another flower.
