Jenny is hosting the Acrylic Paint Challenge!
Be sure and go to the CAS Mix Up site for many helpful videos and awesome cards
by the very talented DT and GD.
I used the same video technique that Jenny used on her beautifully textured card:-)
Here is my card using the Background Techniques by Teela Cunningham (9:29).
I made 5 backgrounds using different color combo's and
techniques from the video!
I really liked the colors and textures in this background.
I used Cerumcoat Acrylics: Crimson, Fuchia, Opaque Yellow and White.
I added small drops of paints onto SU Whisper White CS and
used the flicking motion with a small piece of cardboard
to blend the colors. Then let dry over night.
Die cut SSS Flowing Vine Collage out of Whisper White CS.
Then attached to acrylic background and attached both layers
to cardbase. Stamped sentiment and Done!
I was very pleased with the results and knowing I still have 4 more
backgrounds to play with in the future:-)
Thank you Jenny for hosting a fun and creative challenge and
Happy Birthday CAS Mix Up and Thank You for All your Awesome Challenges!
You still have until the 24th to play along. Hugs...
