My Card

Keeping with the tree theme I used Gemund Woodland 110# Cardstock
for my cardbase.  Next dry embossed my card front with SU Woodgrain EB Folder.
using SU Wild Wasabi CS.

I actually used the debossed side so my trees and sentiment would lay flatter.
I attached the woodgrain CS to the cardbase with fun foam.

Then  die cut the CUTplorations PeaceLoveJoy Phrase sentiment out of Strathmore
Mixed Media paper and attached with SU Fine Tip Glue Pen.

The trees were die cut from SU Whisper White Thick CS with Impression Obsession
Die084-V Fir Trees and then I used the Encrusted Jewels Technique
to cover them with Wild Wasabi and White SU EB powder and glitter.

You can find all the Deets for the Encrusted Jewels technique Here on my June post.
I attached the trees with SU Mini Dimensionals and Done!

Quick CAS Christmas Card, since I had my Die Cuts in my stash:-)

You still have until the 24th to play along in this fun challenge.
I am so happy to have another card for my Christmas 2019 stash. Hugs...

  2. Beautiful card Nancy. I love the dry embossing on the card base and your front panel. And the green is so soothing and beautiful. Great idea to use the debossed side so it lays flatter. Looks great with your encrused trees. xx

  12. I’m not sure why, but I sometimes miss your posts even though I subscribe, so sorry I’m late to see this. It sure is pretty with the two textures of wood grain. I like the green. The debossed side looks as good as the embossed side. Good idea! Also love the sentiment die.

  13. Beautiful tree theme card, Nancy! Love the refreshing green & white color combo and your gorgeous Encrusted Jewel trees! It's a clever idea to use the debossed side of the green panel so that your trees and sentiment would lay flatter. Great choice for the sentiment die. The font style matches the woodgrain pattern of the green panel. Good eyes! Hugs.. Hideko
