Here is my Extra card for the CAS Anything Goes without the color twist.
I love when I can use NBUS (never before used stuff). My 1st time to use the
STAMPlorations wonderful Clustered Hearts Die.
I die cut the hearts die with Strathmore 350# Mixed Media paper. Yes, 350#!
Reminds me of Chipboard, but whiter.
I have discovered that the paper works great for die cutting solid or with few details dies.
I left the white pieces in the hearts and glued die cut hearts from
a piece of alcohol Ink Cling Wrap background from my stash.
I loved the dimensional effect.
Die cut a tag using the CUTplorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies out of the same
Alcohol Ink background. Then die cut a larger tag our of SU Whisper White
Cardstock (100#). Popped the smaller tag up with fun foam and attached
to larger tag for a nice white frame.
Added the retired SU stitched ribbons then the hearts and die cut
retired SU....XOXO sentiment. Attached all to SU WW Thick cardbase.
As an after thought, I stamped on white cs the SU sentiment and heat embossed.
Now Done!
You have until the last day of the month to play along at STAMPlorations.
Happy Stamping, Hugs..
I would love if you used my personal STAMPGIRLNANCY discount code for
20% off your next order. Can often combine with STAMPlorations discounts too!
Adding to CAS Mix Up February Challenge: Dimensional Die Cuts, hosted by the very sweet and talented Hideko. You have until the 24th to play.

ReplyDeleteWhat a striking card Nancy and a fabulous design. The double tag die cutting and the very pretty die cut hearts adds fabulous dimension and the cling wrap technique looks so unique and beautiful. Wonderful card x.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, Nancy. The pink and red hearts and tag really pop against the white. LOVE the contrast! xx
ReplyDeletebeautiful Nancy, love the pinks and such a pretty die cut :)
ReplyDeleteA special card with special attention to detail. The AI Cling wrap piece is incredible. I agree, thicker card stock makes card making a little easier. I love the crispness of this tag. Love how you put this masterpiece all together and kept still CAS. Beautifully done, xxx
ReplyDeleteLove this card with the pretty alcohol inked tag and hearts! So crisp and sweet! Loving those stitched tags too and how well the stitched ribbon follows the theme!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background, Nancy and I love that die! I too got some of this paper and glad to hear that it die cuts. I was pretty sure it would hold up through the washing machine and am tempted to try it. Now I'm going to have to break into my pad too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Valentine - great layering of hearts and tags!
ReplyDeleteI have just added my card to the CAS Watercolour as well as Mix Up and now see I have used the same fabulous clustered heart die. Sensation card with that tag. You have showed off the heart beautifully with that stunning background. I nearly used the xoxo die too but was a bit too big for my card.
ReplyDeleteWonderful dies and inked pieces, a work of art, love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely Valentine's card, Nancy! I LOVE the beautiful pink cling wrap texture on the smaller tag and the pretty hearts! Strathmore 350 gave the little hearts a great dimension. You did a wonderful job of keeping the card CAS with all these wonderful elements (sweet die-cut hearts, layered tags, die-cut sentiment, stamped sentiment, and ribbons)!
ReplyDeleteHugs.. Hideko
I love this Nancy and you even used ribbon whilst keeping everything so CAS and so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, Nancy. I love the alcohol hearts and background. The white outline makes the hearts pop.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's some heavy paper! Would be great for mixed media with lots of gesso and chunky things, probably. Such pretty colors on this, Nancy! I love whenever you use this bright pink and white together. The hearts are cute and your cling wrap background is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThe heavy paper works great for die cuts that are being used for Faux Enamel and Encrusted Jewels Techniques too. Thank you for your sweet comment. Hugs..Nancy
DeleteLove this Nancy, cute card and design... Love all of the white space
