CAS Stencil April Challenge: Gilding Flakes

Time for our April CAS Stencil Challenge: Gilding Flakes hosted by our talented Cathy

Be sure to check out all the Gorgeous Shiny cards by our amazing DT and
Guest Designer,  Mac (thesweetestofpeas).

Here is my card using Gilding Flakes...Love the Shine!

Thank you Cathy for choosing a fun stencil challenge using Gilding Flakes.
I only have Nuvo Radiant Gold Gilding Flakes that have been much neglected!

I started with a SU Whisper White 100# card front.
Placed ARTplorations Christmas Trees Stencil over card front and used icraft
Deco/Foil Adhesive Pen thru the stencil.  Worked Great!

Removed stencil and Very Carefully opened the Gilding Flakes jar!!
Placed stenciled card front over copy paper to catch the flying flakes.

Added flakes over entire adhesive covered stenciling and rubbed with my finger to
secure the flakes.  Then used 3 sizes of soft flat paint brushes to remove the excess flakes.
The copy paper caught the excess flakes so I carefully poured back into flakes jar.
Just like adding excess embossing powder into jar.

Next die cut the image to give it a nice frame using Reverse Confetti "Lacy
Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts".

Found the CUTplorations "Christmas Sentiments Dies" Noel in my stash.  The Noel
was die cut from an Alcohol Ink  scrap.  I die cut 2 more out of white CS and stacked.
Popped up image with White Craft Foam onto Whisper White 100# card base and
Done!  Love the Shiny results that even showed up on my photo:-)

You still have until the 24th to play along in this awesome challenge.  Hugs..
