CAS Stencil Card Challenge: Sprays

Come join us at CAS Stencil Card Challenge using Sprays hosted by
the very talented DT girl Robyn!

We have two very creative Guest Designers this month.
Hilary (fiddling about) and Amy (Miss_Lomax_Art) plus of course our talented DT girls.
Be sure and check out their beautiful card samples and there are videos
if you need help with techniques.

My Distress Oxide Inks Sprays card.

And a Close Up showing the pretty Shimmer from the craft spray!
Much more Shimmer in real life.

My positive image did not work out,  but...

I took a look at the Magenta Sunflowers Stencil and realized I had
a lot of the Picked Raspberry ink still on the stencil and did not want it to
go to waste so turned the stencil over onto a piece of Whisper White 100# CS,
which gave a beautiful monoprint of the sunflowers:-)

When dry I sprayed with Sheep Shimmer Craft Spray:Frost.  So pretty.
Next sprayed a scrap piece of Whisper White CS with Wilted Violet.
Then die cut piece with CUTplorations Birthday Word Die.

Stamped SU It's Your Birthday "happy" sentiment using Wilted Violet.
Popped up main image with White Craft Foam onto SU Whisper White 100#
card base and did the same with die cut Birthday that was attached to die
cut foam and popped up "happy".

This was a fun CAS Stenciled card using sprays.  Hope you get to join our challenge
this month.  You have until the 24th to play along. Hugs...

  7. This is such a cheery and pretty card, Nancy! The monoprint of sunflowers creates a lot of open white space and it looks very interesting! The DOX spray sounds like fun to play with and I love both colors. Great job of catching the beautiful shimmer in the close-up.
