CAS Mix Up Layered Embossing Powders

Be prepared for Gorgeous Glittery Shiny Creative CAS Mix Up
Layered Embossing Powder Cards from the DT and our awesome Guest Designer
Jane (Purplejet Loves Crafts),  who is joining us from the UK!

Loll is hosting this awesome challenge.  There are helpful links to techniques too.

Here is my card using the "Encrusted Jewel" Layered Embossing Technique.
The Close Up showing shine and sparkle!

I used the "Stampendous "Encrusted Jewel" 4:43 You Tube video for my technique.

Here is a photo from our recent Retreat showing
Trina, Loll, Susan, Nancy (me) and Christine heating their beautiful pieces on grills
and then adding embossing powders and glitter.
Thanks Darnell for the cute photo!

For more photos of our retreat by Alex click on the Retreat 2018 tab under my banner.

We all came home with many more pieces of Encrusted Jewel pieces for future projects.
It is a great technique for using up your stash of EB Powders and Glitter.

We used a thick white cardstock that Loll shared with us.
My pretty glittery die cut background was from another technique we did
I sponged with Distress Oxide Inks, then pounced with scrunched up baby wipes for added
texture.  Then sprayed with TSUKINEKO Frost Sheer Shimmer Spritz.
So shimmery IRL.

I die cut with PB Antique Frame Die and popped up with fun foam and attached to
SU Whisper White Thick CS after stamping my sentiment using MISTI.
I loved the results and hope you do too.

Be sure and check out the CAS Mix Up June Challenge for many more gorgeous card samples.
You  have until the 24th to play along. Hugs..
