Shery Russ, the owner of STAMPlorations, sure knows how to celebrate!
Shery is celebrating her 5th STAMPlorations Birthday the entire month of June with Blog Hops and Prizes!
Shery started the CASE the STAMPgirls and Link Up by sharing her 3 favorite
cards and CASEing one her cards. I am CASE'ing This CAS black and white design beauty.
Here is my version using Distress Oxides Iced Spruce and Black Soot.
Not my normal color combo, but I loved the results. Hope you like it too, Shery.
I stamped the butterfly mask with my Distress Oxide "Iced Spruce" ink pad
and then spritzed with water onto Strathmore Mixed Media. Let dry and then stamped
STAMPlorations "Trendy Butterflies" using DOX Black Soot a little off set from
the masked images and leaving the small butterflies unstamped.
Then die cut my piece with CUTplorations "Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Die"
Stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set.
Attached to SU Whisper White Thick card base and Done.
My card literally took minutes after I got my supplies out:-)
Thank you dear Shery for all you do to keep all your friends and fans creating
with your wonderful products. As you know, I LOVE your products and your customer
service. It has been a joy becoming your friend the last 5 years:-)
Congratulations, Shery and to your amazing Design Teams on your 5th Birthday!
Love and Hugs...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Nancy ... the smaller butterflies remind me of a technique we are learning in watercolour classes right now, teacher calls it negative painting, but we add some positive too. Such a classy card.
