Wow, impactful CAS card, Nancy! The beautiful real feathers and the thick die-cut sentiment have a strong presence. I love it! Hugs.. Hideko
ReplyDeletep.s. Is the color of the feathers grayish dark blue?
The top layer of feathers are a charcoal gray. The bottom layer iof each feather is the same, but with patches of a bright blue. Very pretty in real life. Thanks for your sweet comment my friend. Hugs
DeleteCAS Perfection. I'm with Hideko, so artsy and such impact :)
ReplyDeleteNancy, I'm not sure what I like better, your description or your beautiful card! Thanks for the chuckles with the stray glue. Haven't we all had that- or worse the dreaded smudge from no where? I've collected feathers and had NO clue what to do with them. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI have more feathers, but think I have only made 2 cards total with all my feathers. I thought the sketch was perfect for feathers. The hard part...how to attach the feathers and the die cut happy. You would have chuckled over my very sticky fingers:-) Love always getting comments from you my friend. Hugs...
DeleteI love the way you combined the challenges to make this beautiful card Nancy!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great design using these feathers, Nancy! You found the perfect way to fix the glue splotches. The extra layer on the happy makes it stand out even more!

ReplyDeleteVery cool and clever use of the feathers for the sketch! I still have a stash of feathers and haven't used them for quite a while. Every single speck of glue is covered up beautifully, too!
ReplyDeleteIf you see sequins on my cards you are almost guaranteed it was because of a boo boo! I did have fun using my blue jay feathers. Always love seeing your comments my friend. Hugs..
