Time to share our April CAS Mix Up Reminder cards.
You still have until the 24th to play in our CAS Mix Up Paper Piecing Beautiful Blooms Challenge hosted by the very creative Linda (Life in the Craft Lane).
I have really enjoyed this challenge. It is a great way to use some of our treasured favorite Designer Papers😊
Used Stamping and Stamping on DP, Fussy Cutting and Doodling.
I used Basic Grey "Stella Ruby" Designer Paper, but a different 12"x 12" sheet than what I used on my launch card. I love the rich earthy color tones and distressed designs on these beautiful Designer Papers, which I have had for years.
I chose my paper then stamped the Magenta Large Daisy (C. 48018.N) and Leaves (C. 0705) with Archival Jet Black Ink onto the Designer Paper in several areas of the paper, so I would have several choices. Then fussy cut with SU Papersnips several daisies and leaves. Now I have extras for a future project.
Then I stamped the images on SU Very Vanilla Thick card base. I could not get my camera to recognize the softer Very Vanilla base, but it gave a more blended tone with the DP.
Attached leaves and then flower with Connect Glue and weighted down with a large acrylic block. Then added the doodled border using Pegma Sensei 0.4mm pen.
Next stamped STAMPlorations "Life is Sweeter" designed by Dee sentiment and Done! Loved the results💕
We would love to have you join us with your paper piecing cards.
Thank you Linda for a fun and easy challenge. Love and Hugs.
