Lots of amazing Reminder Stencil projects by the STAMPlorations DT Girls.
I found a mixed media card front with Blue Brushos watercoloring in my stash.
I secured ARTplorations "Bloom Boldly Stencil" with masking tape.
Then sponged Distress Oxide Inks Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover thru the stencil.
Let dry and placed stenciled background in MISTI. Stamped sentiment and paint brush from
"Life in Full Color" and
tulip image from "Mixed Media Grunge" using Archival Black Ink.
Die cut main image with CUTplorations "Crazy Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Die".
Then popped up using White Craft Foam onto textured cardstock and Done!
I was very pleased with the depth from the stenciling.
We would love to have you join the fun at STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge.
You have until the end of the month to play along. Enjoy and Hugs...

ReplyDeleteI am in love with that sentiment. Soft, pretty background and a fun paintbursh.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours and beautiful stenciling Nancy. Love the contrast with your black images. xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure trove of all manner of backgrounds you have in your stash, Nancy! That quote is the truest words, isn't it? Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful, artsy background, Nancy! You have such a free style. Also love how you alter an existing background. I need to practice this more often. Love the results and the beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteOh it's fabulous!! I love the colours you used and against that gorgeous white textured CS it just pops!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours, Nancy. The whole design of the card is perfect with that wonderful sentiment.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful effect with your stencilled background Nancy. Such a stunning mixed media card, which I love x.
ReplyDeleteI love the gorgeous colors and the depth of the artsy stenciled background, Nancy! And I'm the lucky one to own this card. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at the card in my hand now and I must say the colors of the card is deeper than the pic and the shine of the clear embossed image and the sentiment makes them really stand out. Adding the tulip image goes to show you have a great eye for design - the brush line image at an angle on the top, the sentiment in the middle, and the anchor solid tulip image at the bottom. Thank you so much again for giving me this piece of art!
Hideko xx
