CAS Christmas Poinsettia Challenge

The Joy of a craft room Purge...finding new old treasures!

I made 2 cards after finding these pretty Poinsettias premade images :-)

I am playing along with the CAS Christmas Challenge July Poinsettia Challenge.

My CAS Christmas Cards

2nd Card

I just reversed the colors.  Very simple and fun CAS design using
colored cardstock and white cardstock and the same sentiment Die Cut.

The poinsettias were gifted to me several years ago.  I think they were from Michaels.

I was inspired by DT member,  Hideko's (Papercraft Boutique) sample card!

I loved her stenciled with glitter paste and framed image.
I thought I had a poinsettia stencil,  but turned out it was a holly stencil,
so my card looks very different, but I like the results.

Thanks Hideko though for getting my creative juices flowing:-)

Enjoy,  you have until the 24th to play along.  All the DT and the GD Marina's
cards are so inspiring and beautiful.

Hugs..

Supplies:

  4. Always great to find treasures when sorting through! Your poinsettias are so pretty and have a bit of a vintage-y look. Love the inlaid curved sentiment ... so great when you can get two cards from it by using leftovers from the first! xx

  5. Two quick and pretty cards with your craft room finds! So nice to come across those poinsettias. Love the Merry Christmas die. I have a similar one for Easter, but would get more use out of the Christmas die, I'm sure. I hope to play along this time, too. Good progress on Christmas, Nancy!
