CAS Watercolour Silhouette CASE!

I had so much fun CASE'ing my CAS Watercolour DT girlfriend, Karen's (Snippets) beautiful acrylic stamped watercoloured background and silhouette stamped beauty!

Karen's Gorgeous card!
Click on "Snippets" above for Karen's description!

Here is my card using Karen's technique.  TFS and always inspiring me my friend!

I inked my long acrylic block with Distress Inks: Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves.   I used only one color then spritzed with water.  Next I swiped one color at a time onto Strathmore Mixed Media paper.

After dry I stamped using Archival Jet Black Ink onto SU "Just Believe" stamp 2 times reinking between stamping.  Then stamped off for a light background image.

Then I placed my piece in MISTI  to stamp my 2 new Penny Black "Happy Snippets" sentiments. There are 37 choices of sentiments in different fonts that you can mix and match for many occasions. This is a very versatile set,  which are my favorite!

Next I die cut my piece using another new PB product.."Antique Frame" Dies. Then die cut mixed media paper with a larger  antique frame.  I popped up my main image onto that frame using fun foam.

Then attached the layers to my SU Thick Whisper White card base.  I loved the results.  Thank you again Karen for your beautiful technique and inspiring card.

My card is for our CAS Watercolour September "Silhouette" Challenge.  I just had to play again!

You still have until the 24th to play along.  There are so many creative and inspiring cards from our DT and GD, Birgit.  Happy Stamping...Hugs..
