I placed a piece of SU Shimmery White CS in my MISTI and arranged my stamps. I then stamped my leaves with versamark, removed the piece from MISTI and sprinkled with WOW Bright White EB powder and heat set. Next I stamped my flowers with versamark on the same paper adding the EB powder and heat embossed. Then began the fun watercolouring.
I used SU Sweet Sugar Plum, Blushing Bride and Soft Sky inks to watercolour my images using my aqua painter. I kept all the colors very soft and light. I returned my piece to my MISTI and stamped my SSS "Lots of Thanks" sentiment with Sweet Sugar Plum. I then fussy cut my watercoloured flowers, shaped with my stylus, attached with dimensionals and mini glue dots. I attached my sequins with SU Fine Tip Glue Pen .
I added a thin frame of Sweet Sugar Plum CS and popped up my main image using 3M foam tape onto Soft Sky Card Base. After my card was altogether it needed a bit more to frame my main image...that is when I used my Staedtler marker to hand draw a slightly wonky black line to focus more attention on my little flower scene. Then I was happy with the results.
I sent my card to Loll and was happy that she really liked it. I hope you do too :-) If you click on the link to CAS Watercolour Flowers you will find many more gorgeous flower cards from our very talented Design Team and Guest Designer, Mac (The Sweetest of Peas). You have until May 24th to join in the fun.
Happy Flower Stamping my friends. Hugs..
