CUTplorations New Release Blog Hop Party

Oh My,  so much happening over at STAMPlorations...do take a Look!  The Blog hop has so many inspiring, creative and fun New Christmas Release Samples by the Design Team.  Also a Linky party with prizes. Just add a card using a die cut by any company.  I chose "Smile" by CUTplorations.

I just had to play along when I saw Ksenija's Gorgeous Coffee Mug card for this months CASEplorations Challenge.  Here is her beauty!

Here is my card.  I loved how it turned out.  Thank you Ksenija for the Inspiration!

My card is for the STAMPlorations Never Ending Anything Goes Challenge too.  I used Trendy Leaves stamp set by STAMPlorations and Smile die cut by CUTplorations.

I used my MISTI to line up my Trendy Leaves and stamped several times using Distress Inks going from light to dark shades.  I then splattered my panel using the same colors and a paint brush.  Sponging around the leaves and adding sequins.

I had fun with the Die Cut Smile.  Sponged the same colors as I used for my leaves onto mixed media paper and Die Cut.  Next I  die cut a layer of mixed media and a layer of Early Espresso CS,  which gave the Smile more thickness and a shadow effect.  I used my Fine Tip Glue Pen to attach layers and sequins. I splattered the Smile for the last touch.

Enjoy and thank you Ksenija and STAMPlorations for all your Inspiration.  Hugs..

  17. Those leaves are beautiful falling along the edge of your card! I also love how you inked up the "smile" to match. Thought I might see my gorgeous blue birthday card here. Hmmm... maybe it's one of your older cards. Anyway, I love it! I could sink into that beautiful ocean of blue!
