Time for our CAS Mix Up (W) Emboss Resist Reminder cards Hosted by Nancy (me)
with inspiring card samples by our very talented DT and cards in our gallery.
You have until the 24th to play along in this easy Emboss Resist Challenge😄
Using Stamping, Heat Embossing, Emboss Resist, Watercoloring, Splatters.
I stamped the leaves from the SSS "Be Kind" stamp set onto Canson
Cold Press 140# watercolor paper using SSS White Pigment Ink and
heat embossed with SU Clear White EB Powder.
Then watercolored the leaves using Wet on Wet technique and a #6 paint
brush and Japanesque Colour Shadow Black Paints: Reddish, Bluish and
Greenish Black Paints.
I was inspired by Debbie Hughes Emboss Resist with Watercolor Wash
When dry I added splatters using the same inks.
Then added a sentiment sticker from STAMPlorations "Life is a Journey"
Next attached card front to SU Basic White 100# Card Base
and Done!
Remember you still have until the 24th to play along!
We would love to have you join the fun, dear friends....
Love and Hugs,

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! On your first card the painting looks like alcohol ink, rich and bold. The second card is beautiful with your loose watercoloring. Two beautiful cards, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful examples of emboss-resist, Nancy! Just love that last sentiment - indeed, you practice this daily!

Both of these cards are fantastic, Nancy! I love these embossed leaves and your watercoloring is beautiful on each! Fabulous challenge this month, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThese are both beautiful examples, Nancy! Love those leaves and the colors. The painting is awesome on the first card and then a whole different look, equally awesome, on the second. I do love a loose watercolor look. As you know, I got all involved in the Joseph's Coat and made more cards, but none are CAS. Your challenge inspired me to have so much fun! Thanks!
