CAS Mix Up June Reminder: Embossed Vellum

Susan is hosting the Embossed Vellum Challenge.  All the DT cards are Stunning!

You still have until the 24th to play along.

Here is my card using Heat and Stylus Embossed Vellum,
Stamping,  Die Cutting and Watercoloring with Zigs.
I used my new Gorgeous Penny Black Country Charisma stamp set and
Country Charisma cut out set, which I had NBUS (never before used stuff)!

I used SU Vellum Cardstock,  which is a bit thicker than regular vellum.
I heat embossed the stamped images using Versa Magic Cloud Nine and Heat Embossed
with Wow White Bright EB Powder.

Then die cut the 2 flower stems and pitcher and went Wow!
Then the fun really began...

Turned images over and watercolored with Zig Clear brush pens. Dried quickly.

Turned the die cut images over onto piercing mat and used SU stylus to carefully
go over the heat embossed areas to add additional puffy texture.

I used a craft knife to add 2 small slits at top of pitcher to slip the stems thru.
Used SU Fine Tip Glue Pen to secure stems.

I used SSS "Postage Stamp Edge Frame" to die cut layer of vellum that had colored flakes
and attached to die cut White 100# CS.
Next added stamped Penny Black "Smile All Seasons" sentiment.

Placed die cut images on background using Fine Tip Glue Pen on pitcher,
then added a few SU mini dimensionals to flowers to pop up.
Attached to SU Very Vanilla Thick cardbase and Done!

I Loved the texture and elegance of the bouquet using vellum.
Thank you Susan for your awesome challenge.
I am going to be using vellum more often now:-)  Hugs..

ARTplorations Dots all Over Stencil
CRAFTplorations Free Spirit Clear Stickers
I used another monoprint background from my stash!
I used a "Dots all Over" Stencil with Magicals powders and Bisters crystals onto
Stathmore Bristol paper. Spritzing with T.H. Distress Sprayer.

Then removed stencil and flipped over onto Bristol paper.
Covered with paper towel and pressed down lightly with hand to transfer ink.

I loved the earthy tones for a masculine birthday card.
Die cut the background with CUTplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle
Nesting Dies.  Then attached to White 100# cardbase.

Added the CRAFTplorations Clear Stickers-Free Spirit to White CS and trimmed
and popped up on white craft foam and attached to background and Done.
 The colored background

Playing with Vellum for CAS Christmas Card Bell Challenge

Had fun making A Christmas Card with Vellum.
I am adding my card to two favorite CAS Challenges:

and

.

Here is my CAS Christmas Card using Bells that I stamped and heat embossed on Vellum.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and used 3 different Dies.

Close Up showing true Gold heat embossed colors.

I began by die cutting the SU 100# card front with Reverse Confetti "Lacy Scallop Frame".
Then die cut the window aperture using Memory Box "Stitched Circle" die.

Next die cut another circle with SU Vellum Cardstock and stamped and heat embossed
with SU Gold EB Powder the bells from SU "Bells and Boughs" (retired) stamp set.

Tip: Do not hold heat tool too close to vellum or it will curl &/Or melt!

Inlaid 1st die cut card front then attached stamped vellum using Connect Glue
behind heat embossed bells so glue would not show thru the vellum.
Die cut and glued on die cut circle frame layer.
Weighted down with large acrylic block.

Next used a tag die (?.gift from friend) and only die cut the center out of vellum
to use for the gold heat embossed sentiment from same stamp set.
Attached with Connect Glue and Done!

I was pleased to be able to share my card with both challenges.
Always great to add to my Christmas stash too.

Enjoy and Stay Safe and Creative my friends.
You still have until the 24th to play along in the CAS Challenges.  Hugs..

CAS Mix Up June: Embossed Vellum

This is Loll's 1st month of her consolidated CAS Mix Up Challenge!
hosted by the very talented Susan (Cat's Ink Corporated)
Our very talented Guest Designer is Bonnie (Paper Crafter at large)

After 4+ years it was time for Loll to simplify her challenges and her life:-)
Loll is going from 4 challenges to Two!

She combined CAS Mix Up, CAS Watercolour and CAS Stencil Challenges into
One CAS Mix Up Challenge with the 3 challenges rotating each month
on the 1st day of each month and the reminders on the 15th.

The CAS Christmas Card Challenge will still be every month:-)

The Design Teams have been reorganized with a few girls deciding to retire,  but
I am sure they will be playing along as often as possible.

We are so happy your life will be more simplified Lolly:-)
Personally..I am excited to be able to play in all your challenges now that they
have been consolidated.  So much inspiration by all the new Design Teams also.

Here is my Embossed Vellum CAS Card...Enjoy!
Thank you Susan for inspiring me to get out my SU Vellum Cardstock:-)

I cut an A2 size piece of Vellum and dry embossed with SU "Layered Leaves" Dynamic
EB Folder.  Then chose a Spellbinder Hemstitch Rectangles die cut frame to
die cut the vellum.

Then placed vellum upside down (debossed side) on SU piercing mat and used SU
stylus to trace with a bit of pressure over all the leaves and stems to raise the dry
embossed leaves even more than the EB folder.

Next used the larger end of stylus to go over the entire leaves. It gives a
wonderful white line texture to the leaves.
Then colored the raised leaves with 2 Green Zig watercolor pens.

Attached vellum layer using SU Fine Tip Glue Pen
to SU Whisper White 100# cardstock.  The green leaves hid the glue:-)
Added die cut Hemstitch frame and stamped Penny Black sentiment.

Popped up image layer using white craft foam onto Whisper White 100#
card base and Done!  Loved the results:-)

I am so happy to be back on the CAS Mix Up Challenge,  which now includes
the CAS Watercolour and CAS Stencil Challenges...Perfect!!

Congratulations on your new revamped Challenges,  Lolly!

We would love to have all our followers and hopefully new followers join us.
