STAMPlorations November Mixed Media Challenge

Here is my STAMPlorations November Mixed Media Tag using my new ARTplorations Holly Background Stencil.

STAMPlorations Mixed Media Challenge

Here is a Close Up showing the Glitter :-)

My tag is also for  TIME OUT CHALLENGE #71...

Challenge #71 Christmas with an Optional Twist of Glitter/Shimmer

Also STAMPlorations Never Ending Anything Goes Challenge

This was a really fun tag to make using my new ARTplorations "holly background mini" stencil.  I traced around the luggage tag shape of the mini stencil onto SU Whisper White Thick CS and fussy cut.

I then placed my stencil over the tag and colored with my SU markers: Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler.  I used clear Wink of Stella thru the stencil for a pretty shimmer.  I added Candy Cane Stickles to the berries for more sparkle.

I die cut SU Christmas Greetings "Peace",  two times with SU WW Thick and once with Cherry Cobbler CS for more dimension.  Then painted the die cut Peace with Wink of  Stella and used SU Fine Tip Glue Pen to attach to the tag.

Final touch..wet SU Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding...scrunched and when dry added to my tag after adding a fussy cut Cherry Cobbler layer to back of tag.  This will be a special tag for a plate of KrumKake cookies for a special friend.  Enjoy....tag, not cookies..sorry!

BTW,  I love the new ARTplorations mini stencils.  The designs are the same,  but smaller than the regular size stencils.

Happy Holidays my friends and thank you for visiting and especially commenting. Hugs..

  1. Lovely how you used the holly stencil, Nancy, so pretty with the red berries and the double sentiment. The extra sparkle is a lovely touch too.

  2. The shades that you've used on this tag are just perfect together. It's really one of the most beautiful holly and berry stenciling I've seen. Love the simple touches of some shine from Wink of Stella and red stickles. The red ribbon is just the perfect topping for this sweet tag. xx

  3. Oh... this is so pretty. Absolutely love it. X

  4. Beautiful use of stencil, love the CAS design and the bright red details. Thank you for joining the STAMPlorations Mixed media challenge this month, hope to see you again in December!

  9. Hello Nancy,
This morning I made a card with the same stencil STAMPlorations (but normal size). And now when I look at your beautiful tag I feel Deja'vu. I watch my card :-) Well, I can only say that your tag is very beautiful :-) (I lack the innate modesty, hehe). I'm glad we saw the same thing at the same time :-))
Nancy, do you know the Polish language? Well you transformed my Polish name :-) Thank you, very nice xx

    1. Hello Bozena, No I do not know Polish, but I do think your name is beautiful and wanted to spell it correctly.

Thank you for your sweet comment. I subscribe to your blog, so I hope you are going to post your new card so I can comment on your holly stencil beauty :-) Hugs, Nancy
