This is my first card using my new Penny Black "Bejeweled" stamp. I placed my stamp in my MISTI and then colored the stamp with my Zig Markers, spritzed with water lightly, closed my MISTI to stamp exactly where I wanted onto my Arches 140# Cold Press Paper. I then took my aqua painter and lightly spread the watercolors on the image. I added a few darker colors with Zig markers for more shading. I loved the results. I added pink splatters and then sponged the edges and around the flower image with distress inks. A very easy one layer card. I stamped my image 4 times with my MISTI to get great coverage. Always a challenge on cold press paper.
Here are the Challenges I am entering. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteOoh! What a pretty flower, Nancy! Such lovely shading! MISTI is certainly a wonderful tool! Especially for stamping on watercolor paper.
ReplyDeleteLove how this turned out. It looks like an original watercolor painting. Great idea to sponge the edges to give it a natural framed look. This is a lovely card!
