CAS Mix Up Stenciled with Distress EB Glaze

After seeing Hideko's (Papercraft Boutique) Stenciled Embossing Glaze Technique I just had to try it!  Thank you for always inspiring me with your beautiful creative  CAS designs my dear friend😊

You still have until the 24th to play along with us at CAS Mix Up Stencil Heat Embossing.

Used Stamping,  Stencil Heat Embossing, Die Cutting.

I used a SU square die (ret) to cut out a Basic Grey "Stella Ruby" designer paper then used the next smaller square die to cut down the piece and saved the frame.

Next used Archival Jet Black ink and stamped lightly a T.H. "Stampers Anonymous" script stamp for a distressed look.  Then the fun part!  Used a D. Wakely Stencil "Leafy" and placed over part of script and used a sponge dauber to add clear Versamark thru the stencil and then lifted off stencil and set aside.

Next heat embossed the leaves with Ranger Distress Embossing Glaze "Speckled Egg".  You can see the script thru the embossed leaves because of the opaque glaze😊

Showing a close up of the Glaze Shine!

This is the 1st time I have tried the easy technique with EB Glazes and I LOVED the results.  Thank you again Hideko for the inspiration💕

I used a SU Very Vanilla Thick 4 1/4" square card base to finish my CAS card. Popped up the main image with craft foam.  Then stamped the Altenew sentiment from "Leaf Canopy" and added to the main image and Done!

I have loved all your beautiful and creative cards my friends. Thank you for playing along this month.  Love and Hugs..

My CAS Stenciled Heat Embossed card!

Close up of Shine from the Heat Embossed Distress Glaze.

Placed part of ARTplorations "Riotous Bloom Slimline Stencil over SU Whisper White 100# cardstock and secured stencil with 3M Masking Tape to my Glass Mat.

After securing stencil I used a sponge dauber to add Versamark Clear ink thru the stencil,  then  sprinkled EB Glaze powder colors.
I used Distress Embossing Glaze Cracked Pistacchio and Broken China in that order.

Removed masking tape and stencil from card front.  Shook off glaze powders onto copy paper and poured into empty very small clear plastic pot with screw top lid to save for a future project.   The same technique as my February 1st launch card.

Heat embossed the Glaze and LOVED the beautiful shiny results.
Cut down my image leaving a white border then traced around image with a black Staedler permanent pen using a ruler.

Next added the SU Basic Black cardstock frame and popped up with craft foam onto a SU Whisper White 100# card base I found in my stash that was already splattered with Posca Acrylic Black marker.

Added a stamped with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with Clear EB Powder  SU "Happiest Birthday Wishes" sentiment (ret).
Added SU "White Perfect Accents" (3 sizes) and Done!

Darn,  I had to order a brand new to me Colorado Crafts Company "Christmas Presents" set....that I already had my eye on.  Such a cute set😊
I smiled all the time I was creating my card😊 Enjoy...

I stamped the dog and Christmas gifts image (one stamp) with Versafine black ink onto Strathmore Mixed Media paper using MISTI.  Then heat embossed with SU clear EB powder.
Next watercolored with Zigs markers.  Then placed the image back in MISTI and stamped the sentiment from the same set and heat embossed.

Then die-cut the frame with Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangle die.  Popped up the image with white craft foam and attached to SU Whisper White 100# card base and Done!   Thank you Susan for a fun and easy CAS Christmas Challenge😊

Follow your Dreams

Placed Simon Says Stamp (SSS) "Tumbling Leaves Stencil" off the edge of SU Whisper White 100# cardstock and secured stencil with 3M Masking Tape to my Glass Mat.

I wanted to use 3 colors of Ranger Distress Embossing Glaze (EB Powder) on the leaves,  but knew I would have to remove masking tape and stencil if I only heat embossed one color at a time.  Then replace stencil and masking tape perfectly so I would not get a blurry effect.  So I chose Glaze powder colors that would work well together if blended.

After securing stencil I used a sponge dauber to add Versamark Clear ink thru the stencil,  then  sprinkled EB Glaze powder colors.
I used Distress Embossing Glaze, Antique Linen (lt yellow), Peeled Paint (lt green) and Vintage Photo (brown) in that order.

Removed masking tape and stencil from card front.  Shook off glaze powders onto copy paper and poured into empty very small clear plastic pot with screw top lid to save for a future project.

Heat embossed the Glaze and LOVED the beautiful shiny results.
Then die cut the stenciled leaves card front with Reverse Confetti "Lacy Scallop Frame" Confetti Cut.

Next stamped STAMPlorations "Woodland Friends" Sentiment and heat embossed with Vintage Photo Glaze twice.  It looks a bit blurry in the photo,  but does not IRL.

I popped up the image with craft foam and attached to SU WW Thick 100# card base and Done!  Loved the results.  I will be using this technique again.
I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's video above.

Sharing Close Up of all the Stencil Heat Embossing.
