Here is my Splash background card using my brand new "Layered Holly" set by "Shirley Bampton" designer for STAMPlorations!
Such a fun and easy CAS card design using my Splash Background technique.
Here is Loll's wonderful Splash Watercolour Backgrounds Video!
I stamped my holly leaves with Archival Ink using MISTI. Next stamped the solid berries with Barn Door Distress Ink and stamped with lined stamp in black ink, fussy cut and set berries aside. Stamped sentiment in MISTI.
I then die cut my frame using CUTplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Die. I popped up my berries with dimensionals and also popped up my card front with fun foam onto SU Thick Whisper White Card Base. I really liked the results of this very easy to create card. I am loving Shirley's new Layered Holly set. I will soon have more cards to share using the same set:-)

Paper: Strathmore Bristol. SU Thick Whisper White CS
Inks: Archival Jet Black. T.H. Distress Inks: Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn and Barn Door.
Accessories: MISTI. CUTplorations Crazy Stitched Rectangle Die. Dimensionals, papersnips. For background: craft mat, spritzer, heat tool.
Love that artsy background, Nancy! It works so well with that holly stamp. Your framing is wonderful on this one too. This does look fun and easy to do!
