CAS Mix Up November Glitter Challenge

CAS Mix Up November Challenge Glitter Hosted by Bonnie is...Perfect for holiday cards!

Here is my very Glittery 6 3/4" x 3 3/4" Christmas Card!

I was playing with my new My Favorite Things Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window die.  I had die cut the window using a Brushos background splattered with white acrylic paint that was in my stash.  Next I  die cut a SU Thick Whisper White scrap piece of cardstock and laid aside, but time for bed.

Walked into my room the next morning and "My" light bulb switched on.....!!  I had my new STAMPlorations "Merry Little Christmas" stamp laying next to my project and realized it fit perfectly under the die cut window scrap:-)  Now no longer a scrap that would get trimmed,  but a 6 3/4" x 3 3/4" card format!  Love when that happens.

I die cut my IO Fir Trees Dies out of SU Silver Glimmer Paper and attached to window background.  Next I stamped my sentiment using my MISTI and Versamark.  Heat Embossed using SU Iridescent Ice EB Powder.  Very glittery IRL along with the glittery trees.  I added a hologram silver star from my stash and Done.

With all the glitter...it took almost as long to photograph..lol!  I wish you could see IRL...really pretty!

You have until the 24th to play along in our CAS Mix UP Challenge.  Be sure and check out all the gorgeous cards from our DT and our very talented Guest Designer Robyn (Waterlily Cards).  Have a fun Glittery November.  Hugs..

  4. I agree that glitter is almost impossible to get a good photo of! But this is gorgeous with that sparkling sentiment and the tiny silver glitter trees! Love the tall, thin card too, MF!

  10. That panel behind the peek a boo window frame is so bright and pretty Nancy, and the two little die trees sit within it perfectly, and the silver glimmer paper goes so beautifully with the blue background. I love the soft and glittery heat embossed sentiment in that tree shape down the card front too. x

  12. Your blue brushos background and the silver fir trees are so beautiful, Nancy! I can imagine the Iridescent Ice heat-embossed sentiment must be more glittery in real life. The hologram silver star is a nice finishing touch for the Christmas tree shaped sentiment too! Hideko
