STAMPlorations Blossom Dreams Special Release!
I am showcasing the new beautiful STAMPlorations "Blossom Dreams" stamp set
I am showcasing the new beautiful STAMPlorations "Blossom Dreams" stamp set
designed by Shery.
The set has 8 wonderful sentiment phrases that can be used for
My 1st Card
I used an Alcohol Ink on Yupo paper background from my stash and
covered with ARTplorations "Evolution" Stencil. Next lifted the colors
using mini blending tool with foam pad and T.H. Alcohol Lift Ink.
Lifted AI with paper towels. Worked great.
I Loved the artsy results.
Then Die Cut with CUTplorations "Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle
Nesting Dies" . Burnished with paper towel to bring out the shine.
Next placed image in MISTI and stamped "Blossom Dreams" sentiment
with Black Archival Ink a couple of times for good coverage.
Set aside to dry overnight to prevent any smearing.
Popped up main image with fun foam onto Die Cut card front and Done!
A quick artsy CAS card design that I loved!
My 2nd card.
Bloom Dreams, Bloom Doodles, and
I die cut Strathmore Mixed Media paper with the 2nd largest Running Stitch Die.
Then placed in MISTI and arranged all my stamps from Bloom Doodles.
Next stamped flower images with Versafine Black pigment ink and removed from
MISTI to heat emboss with SU Clear EB Powder.
Returned to MISTI and stamped Bloom Dreams sentiment and heat embossed.
The Bloom Doodles cards by our very talented Deepti for her Oct 2018 Spotlight Project
inspired me to add a watercolored rainbow wash background!
I used Kuretake Gamsai watercolors for the wet on wet watercolor technique
using a #12 round watercolor brush to apply the paints starting with the red, then yellow,
greens, blues and purple.
I forgot and colored the flowers. Looked at Deepti's cards again and realized I should have
left the flowers white. No problem, just stamped, heat embossed and fussy cut
new flowers and popped up with dimensionals and
added a SU black candy dot to flower centers.
Framed with SU Black CS and attached to SU Whisper White Thick card base
and Done!
I was very happy with the results of both cards. Hope you like them too.

new "Beautiful Friends" stamp set.
