Shirley's Layered Mistletoe and Layered Lights Christmas Sets

I have been having fun creating with STAMPlorations new Layered Christmas Sets
designed by Shirley Bampton (shirley-bee's stamping stuff).

I have a Layered Poinsettia project that you will see in the future.

For now,  I am sharing cards using the Layered Mistletoe and Layered Lights Sets.

 Layered Mistletoe stamp set.

My 1st Card

A 3" x 6" Tall card with a watercolored background on Strathmore Mixed Media paper.
I used Brushos Emerald Green and Leaf Green pigment powders and spritzed with water

Next I used my MISTI to stamp the lined mistletoe stamp twice with Archival black ink.
Stamped the bows in Barn Door Distress Ink and added Nuvo Gloss Red Berry Drops
to the berries.

Next stamped the sentiments with Archival black ink and framed with red cardstock.
Attached card front to red card base and done.
Such a fun quick and easy Christmas Card for my stash.

For my next card I used Layered Lights stamp set.

My 2nd Card

I used a monoprint stenciled background from my stash.  Can you see the subtle white
Christmas trees designed by STAMPloration's Sanna Lippert's Designs
Christmas Tree 1 stencil? It has become one of my favorite Christmas stencil.

I used green Lindy's Magical's Pigment Powder to sprinkle on the stencil and
then spritzed with water.  When dry, die cut with CUTplorations
Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

Used MISTI to arrange and stamp the "Layered Lights" sentiments with Archival black ink.
I loved how it turned out.  Another Quick and Easy card!

Sharing Close Up of the shimmery Magicals.  So pretty IRL!

  2. What a great post to officially introduce yourself as a DT member of STAMPlorations. Congrats Nancy ... I'm so happy for you! You've done amazing work to showcase two of Shirley's fun stamp sets. Love the vibrancy of your first tall card. The background colour is bold and beautiful. The stamping in black with the red berries and bows really stands out. Love the red card base to add another pop of colour!

Your second card is fantastic with your stencil monoprint. Amazing done with the magicals that really add so much shimmer. The large sentiment is perfect to finish the card. xx

Both cards showcase the STAMPloratons products so well. Thank you for providing us the sales info and tips on how to find project samples DT made on the STAMPlorations website. It's very helpful.
Your first card is artsy, whimsical, and bold. It's full of festive feelings. And I love the stenciled monoprint background of the second card! It's so pretty, especially with the shimmer of the Magicals. The close-up photo caught the shimmer very well. Fabulous job, and congratulations again, my friend! Hideko xx
