CAS Mix Up (S) Paste/Gel Challenge

All our CAS Girls are looking forward to starting up our CAS Challenges again.
Our June CAS Mix Up Stencil Challenge hosted by our wonderfully creative
Loll (Stamping with Loll) is using Pastes/Gels through our Stencils!

You will be inspired by beautiful and creative textures created by our incredibly
talented Design Team and our Two Guest Designers...
The very talented Jules (Crafted by Jules) and the amazing Darnell (djkardkreations).

I used Dream Weaver Regular Paste thru my
ARTplorations Roses Stencil.

I attached the ARTplorations Roses Stencil over Strathmore Mixed Media Paper and
secured with masking tape.  Then used a palette knife to spread the
Dream Weaver Regular Paste over the stencil.

Then removed the stencil and washed immediately in warm soapy water.
Then let the paste dry overnight.

Next I used Gansai Tambi Gem Colors Watercolor paints and painted the roses using
#2 and #3 paint brushes.  Adding several layers until I was happy with the results.
The paints leave a beautiful shine..especially the Yellow Gold.
I also used the pink and green Gem colors and let dry.

Next die cut the image with Memory Box Stitched Rectangle and used MISTI to
stamp the Penny Black "Happy Snippets" sentiment with Versafine Black ink
and heat embossed with SU Clear EB Powder.

Popped up the main image with craft foam onto MM paper and card base
and Done.  I was very happy with the pretty textures and colors.

This card went to my dear friend Daisy who loves flowers and
celebrated her 93rd Birthday recently:-)  She loved the textured flower.

You have until the 24th to play along with our fun and easy
CAS Mix Up Stencil Challenge.  We would love to have you join in the fun.

Love and Hugs..
