STAMPlorations November Stencil Challenge

Already time for our Stencil Challenge.  We would love to have you join in with your stencil projects!

ARTplorations Slimline Stencil "Beyond the Trees"
STAMPlorations "Woodland Friends"

I secured with 3M Masking Tape the Slimline Stencil "Beyond the Trees"
to Yupo paper.  Then used makeup brushs to blend Distress Oxide inks over
the stencil.  My 1st time to try the Yupo paper for stenciling.
I loved how the inks blended. I used a masked circle for my moon.

Next fussy cut the "Woodland Friends" that I found in my stash.
I had used Derwent W/C Pencils to color the images.

The white border was the edge of the slimline stencil:-)
Added the stamped  sentiment on Yupo paper and the main image to
100# white cardbase and Done!

Enjoy and be sure and check out the Stencil DT girls projects too!
Love and Hugs.  Nancy

  1. I have never thought of stencilling onto yupo paper, did it take ages for the ink to dry? love the end result and that watery moon shining through xx

    1. I did not watercolor, but used DOX and blended colors with makeup brushes, so did not take too long to dry. Loved how the colors blended. Hugs...

  2. Hmmmm... I've always liked blending inks on glossy, but have never tried yupo. Love how you've shown the versatility of the slimline stencil. That's a cute critter set, too. You know how I love critter stamps.

  4. Thanks for stopping my my blog to comment on my challenge card. I did not know you were on the DT over here, Nancy. So glad to find that out. I just put in an order this week taking advantage of the November specials. I have really loved getting into stenciling and am always glad to find some new sources for them. I will have to use your code next time I order. Love your pretty card with the stenciled trees. I'm a big fan of Dox inks as well.
