My Extra Card using "Framed Rose and Cupcake" Free Digi Stamp.

I downloaded the free 5" x 3 1/2" digital "Framed Rose and Cupcake" stamped image.
Next printed onto copy paper in grey ink.  Made sure ink was dry.
Then colored with Zig markers, which worked fine on the copy paper.

I used Staples Ink Jet bright white 24# copy paper and colored with the markers
without adding any additional water to move the colors around.

Adhered colored image to SU Whisper White Thick (100#) CS.
Then popped up with fun foam and adhered to cardbase.

A very quick and easy Valentine card!

This is my 1st ever Digi card and will not be my only.
Next time I will try cardstock.

You have until February 8th to play in the Hey, Love Hop and Linky Party!
We would love to see your Love projects.

  7. What a fun image, Nancy and welcome to digi images. Love the cheerfulness of this one. I'm most intrigued with watercolor on copy paper. I can almost see me soaking the paper into shreds. Beautiful job on this.

  12. Amazing that you were able to watercolor on copy paper. I've sure never tried it, but it worked for you! Digis are a boon to the person who loves to color (like me). So many advantages, such as cost and storage. Definitely a nice supplement to all the beautiful art stamps we love to keep in our craft rooms! These are some very pretty digis and very nice that they're offered as freebies. So much beautiful color on your yummy painting, Nancy!

    1. I have always been inspired by all your digi designs, my friend. I did not add extra water to move the Zigs ink around. I was pleased the inks did not soak thru. I used Staples Ink Jet bright white 24# copy paper. Thank you for your sweet comment. Hugs..Nancy
