Loll's 2018 Twelve Tags of Christmas Day 1

Such a fun time of year with our dear friend Loll making sure
we have Christmas tags ready for the holidays!

I am sad Loll that this is your last tag event,
but Thank You so much for the 5 years of creative fun!

I use my tags to attach to plates of Norwegian Krumkakes for friends.
It has been a family tradition for generations starting in approximately 1914
after our Norwegian Grandma married Grandpa Knutson.  Both Norwegian immigrants!
Grandma shared her Krumkakes in coffee tins to keep them crisp and fresh.

Here is my tag for Day 1

A simple Christmas Tag using a CUTplorations Stitched Tags Nesting Die.  I used the
2nd largest Tag Die.

Next sponged Strathmore Mixed Media paper with Distress Inks and
then placed in MISTI to stamp images.

I used Archival black ink to stamp STAMPlorations Layered Mistletoe image and
sentiment designed by Shirley (The Bee's Knees).

Then added Nuvo Crystal Drops..Red Berry and SU red ribbon (ret) and Done!
Loved how my tag turned out and yet,  so easy.

Hope you get to play along in Loll's tag event that lasts until the 16th.

Happy Holidays and Tag creating, my friends. Hugs..

    1. Batter made with flour, sugar, eggs (our fresh eggs) and melted butter. Cookies made in a Krumkake iron and then rolled quickly. Crisp and yellow buttery taste and smell:-) Yummy!

  10. Very Christmasy with your gently blended sponging. I like how you left the leaves uncolored and simply added the pretty Nuvo berries. This will dress up a plate of Krumkakes beautifully!
