Other: Balloon Bouquet Punch from SU Occasions Catty, Pool Party Thick Twine, dimensionals, Thin Tip Glue Pen, MB Stitched Rectangles

Watercoloring Block Thank You so much!

Earlier this year I took my 1st On Line Watercoloring Class.  It will not be my last.  Well worth the time and I continue to use one or more watercoloring techniques on all my card stamping.

I used Pelikan Watercolors, Zen Watercolor Brushes and Fluid 100 Hot Press Paper for my card.

I used Wet on Wet watercoloring for my blocks.  Drying between layers.  I then made wet ink splatters and added sequins on my die cut layer and added a black card stock frame popped up with dimensionals.

I do like how the Hot Press paper seems to add more vibrancy to the watercolor paints than Cold Press Paper.  Here is another photo of a Cold Press Paper sample using the same paint.

CAS Butterfly Thank You

I had fun today designing a thank you card using the current CTS #163 designed by Chrissy Larson.

I used SU Wildflower Fields DSP from the SAB catty and a SU retired Washi Tape.  I then used SU markers to ink up my STAMPlorations "Mini Mixed Media Backgrounds" stamp and spritzed with water to give it a Watercolor look.  I stamped my SU "Papillon Potpourri" butterfly using Memento Tuxedo light grey ink and colored with SU markers: Calypso Coral, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey.  Spritzed with water and then punched out with my SU Elegant Butterfly punch.

I shaped my butterfly with my bone folder, added gel medium for a bit of gloss and clear Wink of Stella for glitter and attached with dimensionals.

Adding my Simon Says Stamp "Lots of Thanks" sentiment for the final touch.

I am adding my card to several more favorite Challenges.

Watercolored Stamped Daffodil!

My First "scandinancy creates" blog post! 

My "Watercolored Stamped Daffodil Birthday Card" for the CAS Mix Up March Challenge...Watercoloring. 

Only seems right,  since Loll has been a huge help in getting my Blog started and she designed my Signature and Blog Watermark!  Thank you again my friend.  My card is for our DD Jeani's 50th Birthday...oh my! 

I watercolored my image with Zig watercolor markers, spritzed with water and stamped onto WC paper.  I used the wet on wet WC technique to add my layers of Zig colors.  Drying between each layer.  I then die cut my window twice with my MB Stitched Rectangles Dies.  Popped up the main layer and inlayed the main image then added the sentiment.  Enjoy and hope you get to join in Loll and Bonnie's new challenge this month.
